eClerx Digital partnered with a specialized footwear retailer to produce a daily web report that could help them assess the performance of their e-commerce site. The custom report integrated several data sets from multiple geographic regions including orders, revenue, and traffic data to help the client better understand sales performance and website performance, as well as predict future data for more strategic marketing decisions.The client expected high quality, accuracy, and timeliness combined with actionable insights, but over time the reporting process became burdened with time-consuming and error-prone modifications that required in-depth quality checks at various stages
By applying LEAN techniques with our proprietary WISE (Waste Identification, Solution Identification, Elimination) methodology, we identified various areas for improvement and implemented those recommendations for a nearly 80% time savings. Upon completion of this web reporting optimization project, we improved client confidence and allowed the client to better serve their customers.
